Events in Verbier on 1 May 2022

Every year, Verbier hosts the Trail Verbier St Bernard which is a series of endurance races which attracts athletes from all over the world.

The Trail du Vélan is one day event with different length races starting in the little village of Bourg St Pierre.  

Since 1891, the 1st August has been celebrated as Swiss National Day and is a national holiday in Switzerland.

Crossing six valleys for a total distance of 125km and a positive vertical gain of 5,000m, the Grand Raid is effectively the longest single leg mountain bike race in the world.

The Rallye International du de Valais, a steadfast event in the Swiss motoring calendar for many years, is a FIA event and boasts representation from a wide range of nationalities and motorsport teams.
