During the summer months the Verbier valley is a haven for mountaineers, climbers, hikers and mountain bikers, and those simply wishing to enjoy the more leisurely pursuit of admiring the beauty of the surrounding mountains. This high altitude playground is easily accessed with a wide selection of lift passes.
Which ticket you buy depends on how long you're here and what you plan to do up there.
You can buy some lift passes online. Others, you’ll need to purchase in person at one of the lift pass offices.
To get the best deal, we recommend you buy passes online at least 10 days in advance.
Deals and discounted lift passes in Verbier
Are there any summer lift pass discounts and deals in Verbier?
Verbier offers special multi-activity passes, called 'VIP Pass', as well as paragliding passes. 'VIP Pass' is a multi-activity pass that gives you access to a wide range of activities, some lifts access in Verbier and museums.
Early booking discount
Book your pedestrian or mountain bike lift pass online at least 10 days in advance and get money off the normal price (on mountain bike passes this discount is only valid on half-day and one-day passes).
Group discount
Group reductions are available for parties of 15 people or more - ask at the lift offices in resort for a quote. This applies to all passes with the exception of the 'Pass Verbier' multi-activity pass (on mountain bike passes this discount is only valid on half-day and one-day passes).
Carte Club Four Vallées and VIP Pass discount
If you have a 'Carte Club Four Vallées' you can save an additional 20% on lift pass prices – you must present it at the ticket offices in resort (on mountain bike passes this discount is only valid on half-day and one-day passes). Holders of the VIP Pass get free access on a selection of lifts as a pedestrian and 50% off mountain bike lift passes (on mountain bike passes this discount is only valid on half-day and one-day passes).
Pedestrian lift pass deals
Special prices are offered on selected days throughout the summer season, the so-called 'Mini Price Days'. On these days you get a one-day pedestrian lift pass, including Mont-Fort. On the Swiss bank holiday 'Jeûne Fédéral', pedestrian lift passes will be heavily discounted.

Who can use the lifts for free in Verbier?
Children aged under eight years old and people aged over 77 years old can use the lifts for free. Proof of age required at the time of purchase. These passes are only available at the lift pass offices in resort.
Mountain bike lift passes in Verbier
The Verbier, Val de Bagnes and La Tzoumaz areas offer over 800km of mountain biking trails. These include a bike park with nine downhill runs, 213km of enduro trails and over 500km of forested cross-country tracks which are also great for e-bike riders.
How much are mountain bike lift passes in Verbier?
There are two types of mountain bike passes in Verbier.
- The normal mountain bike pass gives you access to the famous Verbier Bike Park (including the Verbier and Savoleyres areas) as well as the surrounding cross-country and enduro trails. Normal mountain bike passes start from half a day up to all season long.
- The Tour du Mont-Fort pass gives you access to an epic downhill itinerary that boasts over 50km, starting from Verbier, La Tzoumaz or Nendaz. These passes are only available for one day.

How much are pedestrian lift passes in Verbier?
There's a multitude of different passes are available to buy for pedestrians wishing to use the summer lifts. These are basically divided into three areas: the wider Four Vallées/Mont-Fort which includes access to Verbier and La Tzoumaz-Savoleyres, as well as the Mont-Fort cable car, and the smaller Verbier and La Tzoumaz-Savoleyres areas. In each of these, there are also single and return passes available for each of the lifts.
