Choose from their long list of organic coffees and cold-pressed juices and you're on for a day out on the mountains.

In Verbier Arctic Juice is located on Rue du Medran, right at the bottom of the Medran téleécabine, so you can stop in to refuel after your morning or day on the hill.

2. La Cucina

Situated on the Place Centrale, they serve daily lunch specials such as freshly made soups, sandwiches and pies. Take away dinners and desserts are also available.

They offer local and international homemade food, as well as a large choice of delicatessen, including Italian and Spanish charcuterie and cheeses.

They also have a delivery and catering service for events, they even provide flowers, menus, decorations and cakes.

Offshore brings a relaxed Hawaiian diner vibe to the Swiss Alps with its 1960s surf theme and casual atmosphere. Known for a fantastic breakfast menu, great coffees and pancakes. Their burgers are packed with flavour and filling enough after a long day on the slopes. Located right by the Medran lift this is a great spot to refuel and unwind.

The café is more than just a place to eat - it’s an experience. With its laid-back surf-shack atmosphere, friendly staff, and unbeatable value, Offshore Café offers one of the most memorable dining experiences in the Alps. Guests can enjoy fresh, flavoursome dishes made from quality ingredients, all served in a welcoming environment where everyone feels at home.

Whether you’re stopping by for a hearty lunch after a morning on the slopes, catching up with friends over drinks, or simply soaking in the legendary mountain vibe, Offshore Café delivers a warm, inclusive atmosphere. The team is attentive and encourages feedback, ensuring every visit is as enjoyable as the last.

4. La Marmotte Restaurant

A traditional mountain restaurant with views over Verbier and out to the Mountains.

Serving local cuisine using fresh ingredients and mountain flavours. The restaurant interior can’t get any more authentic, with a gorgeous open stone fire creating a warm and cosy atmosphere. They pride themselves on using the finest local cheeses in their recipes, so inevitably the fondue here is delicious.

The restaurant is also open in the evening, serving Raclettes and other Savoyard dishes. To get there it will take you a 30-minute walk from the last stop on the free bus line by the Carrefour restaurant and then following the forest road. You will be ready for the Savoyard delights once you arrive. You can get a table here in the evening by reservation only and you can even sledge back down to Verbier after your meal.

Booking is recommended during peak season. In the summer you can drive to the restaurant via the road that heads to Corix de Coeur or alternatively hike to the restaurant for a well deserved lunch. In the winter, ski from the Savoleyres and for those on foot take the trails from the Sonalon or the sports centre.

Le Mazot Restaurant, Fionnay interior

5. Le Mazot restaurant, Fionnay

Traditional Savoyard style restaurant with seasonal produce located in Fionnay, near Bagnes. A charming local eatery nestled in the heart of the Val de Bagnes village, popular with hikers and visitors to the area. It serves homemade, regional cuisine including seasonal dishes, salads, meats, polenta and Valais‑style specialties, with crêpes and grill options in summer. A selection of Valais wines is available by the glass. The restaurant operates mainly Friday to Tuesday with evening service on weekends by reservation.

They serve local traditional cuisine, as well as salads, meats, polenta, Brittany crepes and grills and BBQs in the summer.

Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Non-stop service from 12:00.

6. La Galerie du Chocolat Café

Located within Verbier’s well-known chocolate factory, La Galerie du Chocolat Café is a popular stop for anyone who enjoys good chocolate. This cosy tea room has a relaxed alpine feel, making it an easy place to take a break.

On the menu, you’ll find the café’s signature hot chocolate, along with a wide selection of ganaches in a variety of flavours. The Carasel waffle is a newer addition and has quickly become a favourite.

The gallery also features creative chocolate pieces by Swiss master chocolatiers each year, from fun designs to fashion-inspired shapes like bags and shoes. It’s a simple mix of something to see and something to enjoy.

A modern, well-stocked bar features numerous liquor bottles on wooden shelves, a prominent copper beer tap, and glasses, illuminated by warm lights.

No.8 Bar sits right in the heart of Verbier and effortlessly shifts with the rhythm of the day, moving from relaxed café to lively bar, après-ski hotspot, and pre-club favourite. It’s a true central meeting place, known for its warm welcome, good music, and friendly, festive atmosphere that draws both locals and visitors alike.

Start your morning with coffee and fresh croissants, ideal for easing into the day or meeting friends before heading up the mountain. At lunchtime, No.8 serves light dishes that are perfect for a casual break between runs, keeping things simple, tasty, and relaxed.

As the afternoon rolls into evening, the mood changes and the bar comes alive. Aperitif time is a highlight, with a tempting selection of local wines paired with well-chosen tapas, all enjoyed to a great soundtrack that sets the tone for the night ahead. Après-ski here is sociable and upbeat, making it an easy place to linger, chat, and soak up the energy of the resort.

8. Boulangerie Michellod du Chable, Verbier - Le Chable

A pleasant little bread and cake bakery, recently renovated.

Whilst it's not a destination cafe per se, it's a high quality Alpine bakery that is ideal for a quick coffee and pastry before heading into the mountains.

Open every day, 06:30 to 12:30 and 15:00 to 18:30.

Milk Bar

9. Milk Bar

Tea room and café with cosy wooden interior serving hot drinks, milkshakes and delicious cakes. Famous for its hot chocolate and homemade crêpes.

Yet another place to find a mean hot chocolate and a perfectly brewed coffee, Milk Bar is a cool café with a terrific and low-key menu of delicious crêpes, ice creams, tarts, and milkshakes. Any sweet cravings you have will no doubt be satisfied here. With an elegant and cosy interior, Milk Bar is a great spot for a relaxing après-ski coffee, or even a breakfast to start the day before hitting the slopes.

They're open in summer and winter from 09:00 to 19:00.

10. Le Koti Restaurant, Café and Bar

Le Koti in Verbier is an unmissable meeting place for lovers of outdoor sports, good food, and easygoing mountain vibes. Located just a stone’s throw from the Le Châble lift cabins, it’s perfectly placed for a stop before, after, or even during a day on the slopes.

Part pub, part bistro, part coffee shop, Le Koti adapts effortlessly to every moment of the day. The bar offers a generous choice of beers, drinks, cocktails, and creative mixology specials prepared by skilled bartenders. Live sports, small concerts, and regular events create the perfect excuse to stay longer, share a few laughs, and meet new people.

In the bistro, a multicultural menu inspired by classic bistro dishes from around the world takes centre stage. Expect favourites like Pad Thai, chilli, fish and chips, poke bowls, ribs, vegetarian dishes, and much-loved Neapolitan-style pizzas, all made with care and passion. There’s also a weekday dish of the day and monthly specials using local produce.

The coffee shop side is ideal for slowing down, with homemade pastries fresh from the oven, specialty coffee, teas, and fresh juices. Meaning “home” in Finnish, Koti truly lives up to its name, offering a warm, lively space where everyone feels welcome.

This boulangerie bakes its own pastries, cakes and bread in the oven located in the store. They produce croissants, chocolate buns, brioches, quiches and much more.
