A taste of Japan has arrived in Verbier. Hidden inside the lounge of Hotel Cordée des Alpes, Rōpu Sushi Bar ロープ blends alpine charm with Japanese precision. Here, fresh fish meets mountain air - an unexpected harmony that feels both refined and relaxed.

Watch the sushi chefs at work as they slice, roll, and press each piece to perfection. Enjoy a few plates at the counter, share a selection with friends, or take it away to your chalet. Everything is prepared à la minute: maki, nigiri, sashimi, tempura shrimp, and signature rolls featuring Swiss alpine fish and herbs.

Rōpu (meaning “Cordée” in Japanese) is part of the hotel’s restaurant family, offering a new way to dine in Verbier - casual, elegant, and deliciously fresh. No reservation needed: it’s first come, first served. Take-away orders can be placed online for convenience.

2. Le Rouge Restaurant

Discover and rediscover its cuisine du terroir. A delicious substantial dish of the day awaits you at lunchtime and an unexpected refined menu inspired by fresh, quality produce from Burgundy to the Aosta Valley in the evening.

They also offer light tapas snacks during après-ski, as well as the scrumptious crepes that are available from the al fresco crepe bar, which has been making hungry skiers happy since 2009.

On the upper level of the restaurant, there is a panoramic terrace with an outdoor bar and a sun and water cover, accessible from their bar, perfect for apres-ski from 15:00.

Restaurant open for lunch and dinner. Creperie open from December, Wednesday to Sunday from midday (every day during school holidays). Tapas menu served from 15:30 to 19:00 during the winter season.
