A restaurant located above La Tzoumaz, halfway down the La Tzoumaz bubble, accessible via the Nord, Saxon and off the Altiport Pistes.

Offering a menu of traditional cuisine with fresh ingredients and local flavours and, although the menu is small, everything on offer is taste bud pleasing.

Open every day in winter and summer for lunch. Dinner by reservation only.

2. Auberge de la Tzoumaz

Pop in for a coffee or a soft drink if you're not stopping for a tasty meal.

Their menu comprises local specialities such as hand-cut tartare, or trout. The restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and in the afternoons until 18:00. Open in winter and summer.

They also have rooms for the night with double beds, a toilet, shower, TV and breakfast corner.

Worth noting is that at lunchtime most restaurants will offer a well-priced 'Plat du Jour' (dish of the day), normally consisting of locally-sourced meat, potatoes and a salad or seasonal vegetables. Many of the restaurants in Verbier are child friendly, and even have children's menus. Evening meals are normally served from 19:00, and the restaurants are quieter at this time than later on.
