Reputed to be one of the best spots to celebrate New Year's Eve in the Alps, Place Centrale in Verbier starts filling up from around 22:00.
There is a DJ pumping out tunes and fireworks usher in the New Year at midnight. A frequent feature is a massive snowball fight so not for the faint-hearted!
