Evenings out in Verbier

The bars in resort are generally very family friendly, especially during the early evening when it's perfectly normal to see families enjoying a relaxed drink after a day on the slopes. Fun on the snow

Verbier has plenty of dedicated spaces and activities designed to keep younger visitors entertained away from the ski slopes. Head to family-friendly areas such as the beginner zones at Les Esserts and Savoleyres, where children can enjoy fun snow play areas, gentle slopes and interactive features designed to build confidence while making time in the snow even more enjoyable.

You'll find that the local sports shops sell and rent plastic sledges, so head to one of Verbier's dedicated sledging areas for some classic winter fun. The sledging slope at Les Esserts is a firm family favourite, offering a safe place for little ones to whizz downhill, while older children can enjoy longer runs around Savoleyres.
