Verbier Sports Centre Renovation Go-Ahead
45 Million CHF sports centre to open in 2015
It has been over a year in the pipeline but plans for the new Verbier sports centre have now moved to the next level. The project has now overcome a number of objections from locals and is now set to move forward with the planning.
Renovation works are due to commence this year with the project split into three sectors. The priority will be given to the overhaul of the sports hall, whilst a new curling arena will be created and further renovations will be made to the restaurant, well-being area and the gym.
The renovation will start at the end of this summer and continue until 2017 with several stages reaching completion in 2015.
