4. Le Farinet Hotel

Situated right in the heart of Verbier’s vibrant Place Centrale, high in the picturesque Swiss Alps, Verbier’s oldest hotel has been transformed into luxury boutique accommodation blending the traditional charms of a mountain chalet with the clever use of sophisticated technology, bringing new energy to its old school charm.

Hotel Farinet has undergone a luxury refurbishment in summer 2015, designed to meet your every need. With newly renovated bedrooms and suites allowing for ultimate comfort and spaciousness, all rooms come with a modern, fully equipped en-suite bathroom and guests will find the latest technology and conveniences, including Nespresso coffee machine, LCD TV, wireless music speaker, mini safe and complimentary Wi-Fi.

5. Vanessa Hotel

In the heart of Verbier, situated just 50 metres away from the central town square and 350 metres from the ski lifts, this hotel is a Verbier institution. The chalet, which dates back to the 1970s, has just been fully refurbished.

This large hotel has a number of suites on offer as well as individual rooms. They all have balconies with stunning mountain views, satellite TV, DVD player, mini bar and free WiFi, as well as private ski lockers with boots dryer. There are also family rooms available.

The hotel has a small wellness centre which includes a jacuzzi and sauna, complimentary indoor parking and free ski shuttles.

6. Le Chalet d'Adrien Hotel

This chalet is one of Verbier's finest hotels, with an unrestricted panoramic view of the resort and surrounding mountains, set at the foot of the ski slopes.

It is a luxury hotel, but nevertheless it remain a chalet at heart with wood used both outside and inside, and is deeply imbued with the traditions and culture of the Valais region.

Each room in the hotel is different and is named after a mountain flower (Ancolie, Carline, Edelweiss...). Most of the rooms have a south-facing balcony offering a panoramic view of the Alps and are decorated with wood panelling, co-ordinated fabrics and period furniture giving each an undeniable charm. The real wood fires enhance the feeling of calm and well-being.

Following a day on the mountain, what better place is there to return to than the hotel's spa? Unwind in the hammam, the spa or the Jacuzzi or treat yourself to the personalised beauty and body care in the fitness centre.

7. W Verbier Hotel

Located right in the centre of resort, with fabulous furnishings, state of the art technology and a Michelin-starred chef, this luxury hotel is a delight for your senses. 

The stylish and spacious guest rooms, suites and apartments are fitted out with a mix of traditional and modern materials and fixtures, with a few playful touches. There are 123 rooms in total split between four adjoining chalet style buildings.

You also have the option to buy one of the hotel's apartments - the four residences boast a selection of apartments from two to three bedrooms, all featuring private kitchen, balconies and lounge spaces, to buy or buy to let.

Shopping is available on your doorstep in the new Place Blanche commercial centre.

8. Bristol Hotel

Situated right in the centre of Verbier, this hotel is ideally suited to those who want to be near to all the fun, without paying over the odds or having all the noise.

The hotel is relaxed, informal and friendly. Conveniently, it is also only a few hundred metres from the lifts (though the bus stop is just outside) and near to the shops, apres-ski bars, and the nightclubs, including Tara's and the Farm Club.

The hotel was recently renovated and has 31 rooms, 24 of which have a south facing balcony. All rooms have a bathroom/wc and are equipped with satellite TV, WiFi access, direct telephone, hairdryer minibar and safe.

The hotel offers bed and breakfast, leaving you to venture out and enjoy many of the local restaurants which are all within easy walking distance.

After a day on the mountain, you can look forward to unwinding in the relaxation area and enjoy a traditional sauna to soothe any aches and pains following a day of activity.

The hotel provides a secure ski room where you can store all your equipment without it taking over your living space. There is also a luggage storage service and a laundry service available.

They can also host conferences for up to 25 individuals and have a plasma screen and project facilities.

9. Le Chalet de Flore Hotel

This four-star hotel is situated very close to the Médran lifts and is open summer and winter. The hotel is comfortable, relaxed and welcoming, and is a very good value find.

The spacious rooms have absolutely fantastic views over the valley or the resort. They are all different, maintaining an Alpine chalet style, and some have separate spaces for children. The suite even opens onto a small private garden area.

The hotel's facilities are more than appropriate and include a private garage and outside parking, ski room with individual lockers and boot dryers, lift, private sauna, direct access to the sport shop 'Ski Center' situated in the hotel and close access to the whole resort.

10. Ermitage Hotel

Open in summer and winter, this hotel has a warm and cosy atmosphere. Located right in the heart of Verbier, it is very convenient for both skiing and summer sports.

Situated next to the tourist office, it is just a stone’s throw away from shops, restaurants, and bars of the resort. A free shuttle bus stops right in front of the hotel every 5 minutes, taking you to the ski lifts and around town. However, it is also just over 5 minutes on foot to the Medran ski lift if you'd rather walk.

The hotel has 18 double rooms, most of them with twin beds, but there are also 6 single rooms and a family room. The bedrooms are all bright and comfortable with ensuite bath or shower facilities, TV, hairdryer, mini-bar and safe. Most also have a balcony. The rooms to the south overlook the Combins mountains and north-facing rooms have a bird's eye view over the animated lifestyle of Verbier.

There is also a lovely wellness area equipped with a sauna, hammam and massage room, as well as a fitness room with exercise bike and rowing machine. They offer in-room breakfast, or on the terrace in the summer, free WiFi throughout the hotel, laundry service, cots and spare beds on request, luggage storage and ironing. They can also book your massages, airport transfers, restaurant reservations, car hire and more.

The outdoor parking is free and is located behind the hotel. There is also a ski room at your disposal on the ground floor, ensuring that your ski boots will dry overnight and be nice and warm for you in the morning.

11. De La Poste Hotel

Great value, friendly accommodation in the heart of Verbier

This hotel offers simple but clean and well-maintained accommodation in a great location. The generously sized bedrooms can sleep between 1-4 people and some have south-facing balconies with fabulous views.

Rooms are offered on a half-board basis with a full board option available for a small supplement. A substantial continental style breakfast is served each morning and the evening menu proposes 4-courses of quality home-cooked fayre and regional specialities.

The ambience at this property is modern Alpine chic; traditional materials of timber and stone area complimented by the highest quality fixtures and fittings, with all furniture custom made in London. It offers everything you could want for a relaxing break including a spa area with swimming pool, cold plunge pool, steam room, jacuzzi and treatment rooms for massages and beauty therapies.

The main living floor is spacious and open plan providing plenty of comfortable sofas and armchairs centred around a large log fire and flat screen TV. Just in front of the kitchen and dining area there is a fully stocked bar so you can enjoy whichever refreshing apres-ski / evening beverage you fancy. This space leads out onto a spectacular terrace with breath-taking mountain views, fitted with comfortable outdoor sofas and rugs for the winter and sun-loungers for the summer.

If you fancy a film night, the chalet has a home cinema room with soft comfy seating, blankets and dimmed lighting. This is a great space for the kids to escape as it also has a PlayStation and younger children can enjoy Disney films on Netflix or the array of child friendly channels on Sky TV.

It sleeps up to 26 guests in 13 bedrooms; the master bedroom being something quite special with its own outdoor heated seating area on the balcony! The other 12 bedrooms are configured as follows:

13. Mirabeau Hotel

The Norwegian owner, Chris Stuckelberger, has been running the hotel since 1974, nowadays with her daughter Sylvie Carlucci, who has modernised the interiors whilst maintaining the authentic charm of the property.

The hotel is a minute walk from the Medran cable car station and the centre of Verbier. Set back from the main street, you benefit from a quiet and sought after location. In high season, one can often ski right to the door of the hotel.

There are 23 bright and airy bedrooms ranging from singles and doubles to two suites sleeping 4-5 people. All are ensuite and have cable TV, radio & telephone, and most are south-facing and have a balcony.

Rooms are offered on a bed and breakfast basis, which is served as a buffet each morning. For other meals, they are happy to recommend numerous restaurants, cafes and pizzerias nearby which can cater for all tastes and appetites.

They have a cosy residents lounge bar with open fire, the perfect place to relax at the end of the day over a game of cards or chess. A Turkish bath and sauna await you here as well (for which a fee is payable), and massages can be organised on request. Additionally, they can provide you with a high-speed internet service through their wifi connection. Limited outside parking is available free of charge or additional places are available in a covered car park nearby, for which a fee is payable.

Located in the heart of the resort, very close to the Medran lift, the family that runs this hotel have over 30 years of experience between them, welcoming visitors to Verbier.

Decorated in a cosy, traditional style, they offer single, double/twin, triple and family rooms, as well as an apartment that can sleep 4 people. All have ensuite facilities and are fully equipped with hair dryer, phone, TV and safe. There is free internet access in the hotel, and most of the rooms also have a balcony and enjoy beautiful views of the mountains.

Rooms are offered on a B&B basis with a half-board option available. Breakfast and dinner both are served in their restaurant.
