Plenty of new snow on the horizon
A new weather system is moving in over Verbier and the forecast is excellent. Almost a metre of new snow is predicted to fall on the upper slopes!!
The different sectors of the Verbier area are starting to open up too and it won't be long before we see the whole area open for skiers and snowboarders.
At the moment the off piste is still a little too rocky to be safe and the high winds we have seen here have meant that some significant wind slabs have been forming so there is a risk of avalanches.
