Verbier Video Snow Report : November 18th 2012

More open ski runs and clear skis

Imprint
By Lee Fieldsend, Updated

Lee is back up on the hill for the third weekend opening of the 2012 winter season. The ski area continues to grow with more and more lifts opening and despite clear skis and good cover the area is pretty quiet.

The clear skis mean that the snow is melting in the afternoons and freezing at night so the pistes are quite hard first thing in the morning. There's been no new snow lately but and there's no more on the forecast but there is still some powder to be found off the side of the groomed runs.
Hopefully there will be a little more snow before the lifts open again this weekend.
