Mardi Gras at Le Chable

The village of Le Chable celebrates Mardi Gras with a parade around the town and a fancy costume and masks contest for children.

The parade passes through Le Châble and finishes in the town square. Local inhabitants and businesses in the valley create floats and costumes with a common theme.

A number of brass bands join in the parade and perform for the general public in the town square afterwards.
