Wing suit flight over Verbier mountain range

First ever mountain range crossing in a free fall

A Swiss base jumper has traversed 26 km's of mountains after jumping out of a plane above Verbier and landing in the Aosta Valley in Switzerland.

Flew over the Grand Combin peak at 4314 metres with wingsuit

Remo Läng took off at 7500 metres above Verbier and with the aid of his wingsuit, launched South over numerous mountain peaks. After traversing the mighty Grand Combin and 26 kms of horizontal later he triggered his parachute and landed in the Aosta Valley.

Lang reported he could see all the way to sea off Genoa in Italy from take off above Verbier.
