By Robin Deering, Updated

The snow conditions above 2000m on the Ruinettes, Attelas and Mont-Fort ski areas is still in great shape, and the descent down to Verbier is still open and in good condition.

Over on the Savoleyres ski area only the north chairlift is still open and skiing down to La Tzoumaz is still possible. Reduced rates are available for the Savoleyres sector.

The Bruson ski area and the Verbier runs (Moulins and Esserts) and the bottom slopes of La Chaux are now closed.

The long range forecast for Verbier is suggesting some fresh snow this weekend, we'll update later on in the week.

The Verbier ski area will be open daily until the 4th of May (closing sector Savoleyres on 21/04/2014 at night).
