An avalanche struck Verbier overnight with debris coming down to resort level. Fortunately no one was hurt in the incident.

The avalanche set off spontaneously from the Bâ Combe area high above Verbier after heavy snowfall over the weekend and debris came all the way down to the resort, near on touching the Carrefour Restaurant.

Ski school Perfromance Verbier were on the scene with their camera and snapped a few shots of the avalnche debris.
