Verbier feels settled and confidently wintry this week, with the mountains above the village looking full and well shaped after the snowfall earlier in the month. The high terrain around Mont Fort is holding its snow nicely, while lower slopes have a calm, consistent feel that regulars will recognise. The season feels properly established now, and conditions on the mountain are steady and reliable rather than changeable.
Snow and Weather Summary
Current snow depths are sitting at around 210 to 230cm at altitude, with approximately 80 to 100cm in resort. There has been little fresh snowfall in recent days, although light flurries higher up have helped keep piste surfaces in good condition. Daytime temperatures at altitude have been ranging between -7 and -4 degrees Celsius, with the freezing level hovering close to 1500m. Skiing conditions remain good across most of the area, with well groomed pistes and pockets of packed powder on higher and north facing terrain. Lower and sunnier runs tend to be firmer early in the day and soften slightly by late morning or early afternoon. Winds have generally been light, with no notable disruption to lift operations.
