What to bring
This route can be found on SwissTopo National maps: 1325 (Sembrancher) and 1326 (Rosablanche).
Directions
From Fontaney, climb in the direction of Les Attelas, and then drop down to the Lac des Vaux.
After a refreshing break, follow the Col des Mines and walk along the side to the Croix de Coeur.
The return is via the Planards and the Mayens du Clou.
