Refuge and restaurant in the Verbier and Valais region
With space for 56 people, this mountain hut (or "cabane" as they are known in Switzerland), offers a warm welcome and hearty food in beautiful surroundings.
The main base used for climbers attempting Mont Rogneux, it offers accommodation plus food on a half-board basis. The refuge has 56 beds, all in dormitories.
In summer the refuge is a great base for starting the Tour des Lacs which takes in 14 spectacular mountain lakes in the area. It is accessible by road in summer.
With a good reputation for friendly hospitality this is a great spot if you are looking to explore the Verbier and Valais area. You can enjoy traditional Alpine style mountain food on the terrace.
The refuge is open from December to April in winter and from June to October in summer, weather depending.
