High mountain refuge for hikers, climbers and ski tourers
There is plenty of history to this refuge in the Valley of Bagnes near Verbier, with this particular construction being the fifth one built since the 1880's.
Offers simple comfort for hikers, climber, mountaineers and in the winter months ski tourers.
The hut is open in the summer months between June and September and during spring from mid-March to mid-May, weather and snow depending.
It has 75 places available in the dormitories, with duvets provided. For hygiene reasons you must bring a sheet or sleeping bag liner.
Accommodation is on a half board basis, so breakfast and evening meal are included. It is also possible to book a packed lunch for your next days adventure.
The hut should be booked in advance and they would appreciate any information as soon as possible if you are cancelling. To find out more or to make a reservation please use the 'make an enquiry' button.
It is the starting point of many climbs: Grand Combin, Petit Combin, Combin de Corbassière, Tournelon Blanc) and a point for hikes including Tour des Combins, Tour du Val de Bagnes and Chemin des cols Alpin.
