Cabane FXB Panossière Refuge (2641M), Verbier Region

There is plenty of history to this refuge in the Valley of Bagnes near Verbier, with this particular construction being the fifth one built since the 1880's.

It offers simple comfort for hikers, climber, mountaineers and in the winter months ski tourers.

The hut is open in the summer months between June and September and during spring from mid-March to mid-May, weather/snow depending. Please note that drinking water and showers are not provided during the spring months, as the water supply comes from snow melt and is rationed. It has 100 sleeping places in the dormitories, with duvets provided. For hygiene reasons you must bring a sheet or sleeping bag liner.

Accommodation is on a half board basis, so breakfast and evening meal are included. It is also possible to book a packed lunch for your next days adventure.
