Camping in Verbier

Verbier itself doesn’t have any campsites, but the surrounding Quatre Vallées area has a few, mostly open in the summer, so it’s best to check before you go. The closest is a small site in Champsec with a tiny café, around 20 minutes by car. Further afield, you’ll find campsites in Bonatchiesse and Vetroz, about 40 and 50 minutes from Verbier respectively, all ideal for a summer stay with a motorhome or campervan.

Luxury hot spots in Verbier

If you’re after luxury accommodation in Verbier, you’re spoiled for choice. The resort offers everything from high-end chalets and apartments to four and five-star hotels, many with private spas, hot tubs and cinema rooms. Most of the top-end chalets and apartments are in or around the town centre, while luxury hotels offer gourmet restaurants, concierge services and elegant bedrooms. Family accommodation in Verbier

If you’re travelling with kids in Verbier, it’s best to stay somewhere close to the beginner slopes so lessons and ski school are easy to reach. Choosing accommodation near the facilities you need means less time trudging in ski boots and more time enjoying the slopes together.

Cheap accommodation in Verbier

If you’re looking for budget-friendly accommodation in Verbier, heading a little further from the centre is the way to go. Le Chable offers more affordable chalets and self-catered apartments with easy gondola access to the slopes and Verbier’s lifts. You’ll still find a few bars and restaurants locally and with the last gondola running until quite late, it’s easy to join in the après-ski fun whenever you fancy a night out.

Ski-in ski-out hot spots in Verbier

If ski-in ski-out is high on your list, Verbier has plenty of options, though they do get snapped up quickly. Les Creux-Savoleyres offers apartments just steps from the pistes, while chalets on the sides of the home run in Rue de Ransou give you direct slope access. Prices are usually higher than for accommodation a little further away, but there’s nothing quite like stepping out your door with your skis on and heading straight to the slopes.

Party accommodation in Verbier

You’ll want to stay as close to Verbier centre as possible. There are a few bars in other areas, but most of the après-ski action is in town itself.

Le Chable lies directly below Verbier with easy access to the main slopes and the Bruson area. La Tzoumaz is a quieter village on the other side of Savoleyres with gondola links to Verbier. Nendaz and Veysonnaz are further afield, offering more affordable accommodation and access to quieter or more extensive skiing.
